Edison/Ford winter estate

We visited the winter homes of Tommy Edison and Henry Ford yesterday, it was neat to stand where they had stood.

Tim and I just buring some time on the mac book, i come home tomorrow night.

today i went to the henry ford and tom edison winter estates. it was cool. edison invented stuff we all use today. Florida is the old people capitol of america. Lucy was worried about me flirting with other girls while i was down here, the only other girls are 70 to 99 years old. We have senior hour @ the pool from 3 to 4, they seniors call it noodle hour because they float around on their noodles and talk with each other. I am trying to catch a fish tomorrow with some supplies i bought today, and also I bought 2000 feet of fishing line to see how far i can get my lady bug kite to fly, i intend on releasing it If i get it all the way out. Can't wait to come home and see mom, and maggie and tootsie, then lucy and dad on Wed.

Today

Today has been very hard, I am continually thinking about Rebekah Sauter, and always have a prayer in my heart for David, Joshua, and Nichole. We went to the Beach all day, it is just across the street. I bought a 5 dollar kite, it is a lady bug, i get the same amount of fun out of it as the people who pay hundreds for stunt kites out on the beach. I missed a spot while applying sunscreen, don't worry though, most the day i hide under my umbrella with a towel over my legs. Tim and I barbecued the ham burgers for dinner. I discussed the basic principles of the church with the family at dinner. It was great. Also, is a picture of Maren enjoying her skull candy head phones kate got her, and the ipod nano i brought for her, they are much cheaper to purchase here in the US. So i will have another update tomorrow... Good bye Rebekah!!!! I love you!!!

Shopping!!!

we did tons of shopping today, and bout 350$ worth of food and drinks, the Dibus's will be staying here in Sanibel for 2 weeks!!! The condo is just across the street from the beach, very hot, 84 degrees and way humid, if you go outside, you instantly feel sticky and want a shower, even if you just got out of the shower. We had dinner at a killer rib place called rib city, i had a full rack, as did tim and tobias. Tim pushed me around and I shopped for beverages.

Tim's Dad, Reinolf is the last picture, pardon the sideways photo, it is late here in orlando. You will also see tim and his girl friend, Salina. Then in the picture by on the bench is Tim's only sister, who is older, Maren and her Boy friend Tobias, he is the one sitting on the curb. Tim's mother's name is Hika. They are such a lovely family, I am very comfortable here with them even though only Reinolf and Tim can communicate well with me. They have treated me like a family member!!! I am having a great time, it was about 76 degrees today with lots of humidity. After universl studios we came home, showered, and hit a buffet across the street. We are staying at the holiday in on International drive. It is so good to be with Tim and his family again!!!!

A cool Asian hat i saw in the Orlando air port.. a cool hair doo on a black lady in Denver, and an extremely hairy back in Universal Studios. I have having a wonderful time, but missing my family and especially Lucille!!!

I am here!!!!! I have only been here an hour but feel super comfortable with Tim's family, they are so awesome!!!! I brought a garmin GPS and it will be a great help, they were using a paper map to navigate!!!

Nick- today UPS was recruiting college employees, i told them about you and then took a chocolate donut from them that they gave me, it was good. I told them I never plan to work for UPS and they were just fine with that.

Bitter Sweet

Today we put down Lucille's dog Babe, she was 11.5 years old and led a well life. Lucille shed some tears and said it was hard to make the decision because the decision was totally up to her, I say she was the dogs momma, she was a good momma. The dog will be missed, but Lucy wants to get a Bully when she graduates nursing school. (maybe i want her to get a bully, I think she really wants another black lab)

Toyota power!!

I see this awesome early 80's Toyota pickup at the U regularly, it is really clean and neat looking, way cool. I used to drive an 81 pickup, so this guy and me are like brothers.
