Another day of super trucking

Taking this screen to Powder mountain.

I'm parked at the bottom letting uncle Danny climb the hill a bit with his load before I start the ascent.

State fair 2013

We got here at about 6:00 PM. Saw all of our favorite things. And as we were walking out of the park at 8:30 we forgot to people watch. So we sat down and enjoyed the odd people of the state fair.

One more pic from powder mountain

Shakespeare 2013 with a visit to Big John Flat

It was just Lucy and me. We say 12 angry men and Peter and the star catcher.

D9 to powder mountain

Our gross weight in the picture is about 191,000 pounds. We had to drop the jeep in Eden after I spun out on a sub par chip seal job.

The tires got so hot from all the torque it left very Distinct tracks in the road for the entire 7 miles. You can see road sticking to my drive tires.

Not to mention all the problems we had in Eden with the pony motor quitting, changing its oil in the middle of the road, hydraulic lines being backwards on the new trailer, and the whole region of UDOT guys showing up and 2 DOT cops!!

Pretty much an awesome day, glad my dad was there to share it with me and help me through it.

D9 to powder mountain

It took 2 pilot cars and 1200 horse power to yank this sled up the hill.

We used grandpa Wayne's torsion tow bar and went up the hill at about 2.3 MPH.

We did it though, couldn't have been done without dad there to help us. I'm sure Ralph and Wayne were with us as well.

What an achievement !!!
